i got my turtles like.. 5 days ago, and these past two days, they have made my whole house stink of a nasty smell.. i clean the cage every night, but i need help on knowing if theres something else i can do to get rid of the smell, or my families going to make me get rid of them. :'(

Turtles do smell and keeping their cage clean is the right start in getting rid of the odor. What type of litter or substrate do you keep in their cage. You might also need to clean it in the morning and evening. They also might need a larger space.

If YOUR turtle smells clean the water more often(including the cage) And put a air freshener close by it.It works.

get a filter. if the smell is still too much, get rid of them. they will always have that smell. they're turtles.

If they are in water then get a filter with carbon. That will work.

what kind of turtles are they and what are you feeding them
my sister was feeding her turtles cat food and they were really stinky
