I like your phonetic spelling. It's "hiatal hernia", for future reference. It's a hernia in the esophagus--like a stretched-out bubble of tissue. It feels a little weird, especially if you overeat or are overweight in general. It's not really serious--I have one, and I've never had any surgery or anything on it.

I think you mean "hiatus hernia". This is when the functional valve at the end of the oesophagus (gullet) doesn't work properly. Acid leaks up from the stomach & causes a burning sensation usually called heartburn.

do you mean hiatus hernia? if so it is a rip in your stomach muscle an the lining of your stomach pushes through. LF
