You know what his crime was he screamed because he was enthusiastic. He not only should be president today but if people would just listen to him they just might learn something about, good judgment, morals, and conscious. The current administration lacks all of these traits. I do not know what Dean would have done with Iraq other then to ignore them like Clinton did. They wasn't the source of the problem. I bet Osama would be gone, terrorism is going to exist no matter whose president. All in all Dean gets a better then passing grade and I can't say that about Bush.

I personally LOVE Howard Dean! The screaming is what caused people to not like him. I think people just are used to seeing that much passion in politics. They are taken back by it. Instead they would rather vote for stuffy corporate backers, not the kind of politician who cares about the people who vote them in. Its really sad because Howard Dean would be an incredible president!

The scream event is another one of those presidential campaign goofs that kills a candidate. Just like when Dukakis (sp?) rode around in that tank wearing the goofy helmet. From certain views of the situation, it really wasn't that bad.

But he's also viewed as a bit of loose cannon and a bit radical. I have heard him speak and be lucid but many times he comes off as an arrogant angry sort of guy. Would have been fun to see him square off against Bush though-- certainly more interesting than Kerry. Don't think he would have won tho

Howard Dean has a bit of diarrhea of the mouth. For instance, his recent comments about Donald Rumsfeld make him difficult to take seriously, whether in a conversation about national security, foreign policy, or anything.

Not sure, the way politics are these days, people can take a soundbite and paint a picture of whatever they want to...This time they just asked the question, Is this the man that you want with his hand on "the button". Honestly, the current Pres. has done such a poor job, just about anyone with half a brain and some common sense could do a better job. Its about the "economy stupid" should be the next catchphrase of anyone running for president...Not Mission accomplished....DUH? Just ask the majority of Americans, most republicans are distancing themselves from him like rats leaving a sinking ship....Whats the approval rating?

First it has been proven that FOX spliced the scream over his exuberance.

I'm not saying he was not excited only that it was exaggerated.

So the big anti Dean argument is from the Insurance lobby and the HMO owners. (like bill frisk)

They stand to lose over 200 billion dollars a year if America shifted to a more modern Healthcare system.

Let's take deliberately misquoting Bush for instance. In a recent speech, Bush referred back to appeasing Hitler in the 30's (Chamberlain's famous peace in our time speech) when talking about the uselessness of appeasing terrorists. Our friend Dean said the President compared those who opposed the war in Iraq to Nazis.

The man's a liar. Of course he has a good example to follow - Slick Willy.

Scream no scream, he's one of the most arrogant, biased, dunderheaded jerks I have ever seen or heard in my life! That could be it! But, really, I say run him, he'd be great for the republicans and an embarrassment to the democrats, which is why they've distanced themselves from his "greatness."
