I like the old one better, and I agree -- I don't like being forced into Yahoo's incessant "upgrades"

I prefer things that fit on my screen without horizontal scroll

It also seems like Yahoo will find no end to the ways to add more and more client-side scripting (ie, Javascript) to all it's various subdomains. I guess they didn't learn anything from the Yahoo Mail security breach a coupla months back, which was enabled by Javascript. I absolutely hate Javascript. Use PHP you wankers.

and in Yahoo Weather, I preferred the old format of storm warnings where words didn't get truncated. i think adding the scrolling boxes within the storm warnings pages was done to accommo date wider advertisements, at least i can't see anything else that was added to the page, and certainly nothing beneficial.

isn't that odd, something of the gravity of say, a tornado warning, is not important enough to let you read without problems? ads are more important than safety? i mean it wouldn't matter in an area like, say, Yahoo movies ... movie info is interesting but not a matter of life and death.

When you take the time and edit, there might not be much difference. Really dislike the uncertainty caused by 360, My page, but that may come from lack of experience on my part.

I liked the old one just fine. I was not happy with the change. It makes the whole page look too busy and childish too.

The old one. The new one isn't really "better", it's just different.
