When you have to see someone all the time it can be a lot harder but it can be done. The thing you have to do is occupy your time with what you have to do and dont focus on him or what he is doing. Depending on what kind of work you do you could always ask for a shift change or department transfer. If thats not possible, just hold your head up, know in your heart that you will get over it, that there is someone else out there for you, and dont let it get you down. You will recover, it will get easier and you will be allright. Take care.

Sorry to hear that but you need to recover from this pain and you'll be fine. I'm actually going thru two heart breaks at this moment but I'm staying afloat and keeping positive atittude. You need to go out and mingle with different people and make new friends who can get you excited during this period.

Wow.

I'm so sorry.

A book that helped me a lot is called How to Survive the Loss of a Love. You could get it at half.com. . .

Counseling might help.

Also --take good care of YOU. Eat well, sleep when you're tired, ect.

But hang in there and just know that there will be healing. promise.

It takes time...and in your situation it'll probably take more time than it would if you didn't have to see him frequently...one of the many potential issues in dating someone that works for the same company or is in and out where you work...

Be strong...remember it didn't work out for a reason (whether it was your idea to break up or not)...the sun will shine again...

The only "cure" for a broken heart is a new love. Move on. Best wishes.

I once read where mourning a person that is close that has died takes 4 years. I imagine that mourning a relationship that has died takes half that long unless you find some other interest...another guy, a new hobby, plan for a vacation, etc.

The only real remedy to recover is time its going to take time. Try just being cool and chill together sometimes. What happened may i ask. email me and let me know.

Sorry about your situation... Not fun. Short of changing jobs, I don't know what else you could do but suck it up and keep your chin high. Try to get distracted after work, force yourself into doing stuff with friends, keep busy. Good luck.

work relationships are difficult, that's why it's not the thing to do. If it gets to you then change jobs rather than embarassing yourself or ruining your job and his future employment. Then don't do it again.

How do you recover? busy yourself with work, with education, with learning new programs and taking on projects.
