What could be some possible causes of liver filter failure?

Not total failure but improperly filtering of the liver?

drugs (alcohol, tylenol, illegal drugs, over the counter stuff, body bulding ****), tumors, cancer, diseases

Everything that is toxic to the body, like alcohol, drugs, smoking....
The liver is the filter of the body, the blood goes to the liver and get cleaned their, if the blood contain a lot of toxin, it may cause liver failure in long run.
