Yep, TV sucks. Watching any sport is better than some of the "quality programs" networks are giving the green light to now-a-days. I'd rather watch cars go around a circular road 250 - 500 times (NASCAR), than watch some of the programs that are on television. If all else fails, I'll end up reading or listening/playing music.

Soccer is one of the "shows" I'd only watch hilite shows of. The ful games bore me to tears--too slow, not enough action, diving, playacting, etc. They should televise kids' soccer as that's far more entertaining than any pro league.

As far as sports, I'll take the worst hockey (as in ice and the NHL, Land of Eng people) game anyday over the Third World's most popular sport. At least I'm guaranteed to see goals and tons of shots on net.

I agree with the comment about the Discovery Channel. I find that that and the History Channel are the only two channels that I can bear watching.

Rock of affection, style of affection, i like long island, Seinfeld, i will bypass on and on and on. What occurred to the classic 80's shows like: The Smurfs, Roseannne, Alf, Rescue 911, Double Dare etc?

It's true, I'm on the Football channels constantly. I'll take replays anytime over propagandistic shows that homogenize people into useless thinkers.

I think there's a lot of interesting shows on t.v; it never lets me down. Guess it depends on what you're interested in.
