There has to be a reason that your parents don't want you to talk to this person. Hopefully it's not because they are close-minded and judgemental of someone they have never met. It sounds like your internet friend is being quite understanding. just tell your parents what your opinion is and ask them exactly why...in detail...they don't want you to talk to her. You have to be careful on the internet because people are not always whom or what they claim to be. Just use your best judgement and keep things like your last name, address, school, home phone number, financial status and such to yourself.

get her phone number and call from your cell or write her letters threw the mail and put your grandma or someone elses address so you wont get caught talking to her. Dont stop talking to her you might be the person that has made a change in her life she might was thinking of bad things to do to her self and then you came along. You never know what a person is thinking.

Try and talk it out with your parents. I'm sure they have a good reason they don't want you talking to her. In addition, try to look at your problem from their point of view. What you might think is good in your friend might actually be bad to you in the long run.

Be honest. If you explain that your parents don't want you speaking to her and its not your choice, if she's a friend, she'll understand. Its too bad but there isn't much you can do to change it! You have plenty of time to make friends and this girl will just have to understand.
Sorry !! Good Luck!!!

Not everyone on the internet are who they say they are. You could have been talking to a 60 yr old petafile. Listen to your parents, they know more than you even though you think other wise!!!!

Try talking to your parents. If they say no way then you should respect what they say. It won't be to long before you move out of their house and make your own decisions in life.

as a parent myself... they are probably being too protective, but on the other hand, they are just doing what they think is best... you been reading the news lately? sometimes sexual predators, pretend to be girls just to "befriend you" but then when you to meet them cause you just think your parents are loco, bad things can happen! am I saying that you case is like that well you never know. a parent always knows! find new friends but be careful!

Since your parents are paying the internet bill I suggest you do as they say. They can always STOP paying the internet bill.
