First it sounds like you may be anxious and or depressed.
secondly it's best to decide what is actually causing the stresses, is it the job, certain aspects of the job, or co workers. It's not PMS or menopause or what ever?

can you change the stress or or the way you think about it?

thirdly ideas to try if you cannot change anything...that is you have no control over it..

relaxation techniques:
breathing exercises

yoga for relaxation and stretching.

avoid caffeine

avoid sugar ..it depletes vitamin B the neurological vitamin

get 8 hours sleep.. again go see the doctor if milk and regular sleep hygeine practices are not effective.

eat healthy foods

try a multivitamin once a day

exercise 30 minutes daily gently...

think positively and don't dwell on the anxiety it will make it worse and cause you more stress
try to find something good to concentrate on during the day,

go for a walk at lunch or coffee breaks
drink plenty of water

use you social support group.. ie people you trust from home etc or church

myself i live in the present, and talk/lean on Jesus a lot cause thats my spirtuality and faith system, i use yoga and relaxation techniques, exercise, dietary sources, and try to keep regular schedules.

if you need medical help go for it because it is best to get help if you are inclined to a depressed or anxious disposition..especially if you feel suicidal or disinclined to get up and out of bed. Early waking is a symptom of depression/anxiety.

Remember its a disease caused by chemical imbalances, and as such chemistry can be supplemented until you can adapt. Loads of people have stresses that become overwhelming.

Anyway i will pray for you about it.

Before you go to bed write a list of all the things you have to do the next day this should clear your head before you go to sleep so you sleep more peacefully and are less likely to wake up in a panic trying to remember all the things. You should maybe try and do some exercise when you wake up to maybe yoga or pilates that needs you to focus your mind as well as use your body, lying awake feeling bad is not going to help you at all so you may as well get up and do something... you could even do your household chores before work. These things will distract you from your worries and eventually you'll retrain your mind not to think about work until you actually get there. However, if none of these things work i'd speak to your doctor and ask for some help.

I use to get up really eary in the morning at 4:30 am just to take a quick shower and ate breakfast around 5:00 am to work at 6 am.
I worked at JcPenny everyday before I became an office worker.
Relax and drink some herbal tea and don't try to cry in front of people at work cause that's embarassing to do. I did cry at work a little bit cause I think about all the mistakes I v'e done at work and especially when I was still a child at school. Don't get stressed out on the people you work with too. Too much work is no good for you but just try to handle it.

You know, you sound like you suffer from something I suffer from - fear of the unknown. I can remember worrying so much about my first day of kindergarten, I was sick to my stomach on my first day of school. That's been a LONG time ago, but I can remember it like it was yesterday. I got so upset, my mom was late getting me there. I was a basket case. I'll never forget the rest of the class looking at me like, "...well, now who is THIS lunatic?..." LOL!!

When I go through problems, it's not the problem that bothers me. It's the dread of not knowing HOW the problem will resolve that drives me crazy.

There IS a way for you to get past this. I remember reading a bumper sticker once that read "I know worrying works - 99% of the things I worry about never happen". I never forgot that. I still worry, but when I see the oncoming headlights, at least I'm confident that they will usually not belong to a train.

My suggestion to you is read a book that addresses your problem (there's a book for everything these days), or take a class on relaxation techniques. You're halfway there by loving your job. (Any opening at your company?) LOL!

Wishing you well in overcoming this problem.

You say you love your job but you do seem to have a high level of anxiety over a job you love. Is there anything else in your life you could be feeling anxious about? If this sort of feeling carries on, you could find out if your company has an EAP, this is an Employee Assistance Programme, which is a company that offers counselling, on a confidential basis, for different companies. Or you could go to your GP if you feel your anxiety is getting out of hand.

Think of your boss in a leotard doing the funky chicken.

Alternatively get up and instead of lying around worrying do something and take your mind off things. You are just stressing yourself out by doing nothing and dwelling on negativity, you have to break the cycle.

Instead of thinking about the day in front remeber the positive things from the last day at work.

I've never felt that bad about a job i enjoy, only the ones i've hated. Leaving usually helps.
Maybe you take work too seriously, and if it's a job you can do standing on your head, you could maybe chill out slightly.
Being able to manage your time effectively also helps, so maybe a bit of planning there would help.
Good luck!

Sounds like your concerns are more about your life than your job. Do some work on that. Perhaps see a clergy person or a social worker for a few sessions to see if you can get to the bottom of this. The stress is not worth it !

well take a deep breath, and lie there and think about things that makes u happy, sex or masturbation can also help. if u feel really down in the dumps get up have a shower i find that helps. u can also try rescue remedy or st. jhons wort.
and after work go treat yourself with a new outfit or a nice dinner.
good luck and remember there is always light at the end of the tunnel even if it seems dark and gloomy. i also feel really depro about my work sometimes but i try to concentrate on other things it helps! :-)

Opt out! Change your outlook. Is money that important?Try a new path in life, such as helping others ,using your knowledge and natural ability. You will not wake up thinking of difficulties in your life, but be anxious to start your day full of enthusiasm to effect the ideas you have that will help those you are involved with in your capacity as an adviser/mentor.Good luck in your new occupation
