Not really. Its still the good stuff regardless if the curtains match the carpet..

Yes, they should match! I don't have this problem, for I haven't seen any shirts on which this isn't the case. I have some $275 British shirts with white collar and cuffs but blue otherwise...so the whole shirt need not match, but collar and cuffs always do.
