How do you set up an old video game?

I have an old colecovision and and old atari...... they both have only 1 plug when all the newer games have 2 or 3.... can i plug the 1 wire into the plug... if so which one.... or can i get a adaptor of some sort? HELP!

You'll want an RCA to coaxial adaptor and it will give you a picture on channel 3.

The plugs on new machines are meant to go to your t.v A\V ports... The old machines should be plugged into where the antenna cable is meant to go...
