best at what? she is not that good a singer, she is only famous because of the things she does, and personally, i think she is a little crazy.

However, Madonna has a far greater career. Me thinks she even haves the biggest singing girl career ever. However, in the far future, she will be dwarfed by new singers, when other planets and moons are populated by mankind.
Right now, we have ±6.5 billion people. If mankind doesn't destroy itself, mankind can grow to 1.000.000 billion in a few thousands years. Thus, when someone then gets famous bigtime, every star in the past is dwarfed when it comes to numbers of fans.

I actually never liked her. Even in the 80's and her popularity rebuff in the 90's with "Blonde Ambition". I do like some of her older songs but even a broken clock is right twice a day.

i used to love her music in the 80's
my faves were: like a virgin, lucky star, papa dont preach, borderline, la isla bonita, and like a prayer. oh and live to tell. geez, i didnt realize i liked so many! i wish people would not diss her so much. i cant think of many pop stars that survived 3 decades that can still sing and still has a decent body. i'd like to see how they look when they are 50!
