Fair enough, I didn't even know that fact. I appreciate the rare occasion that I actually learn a fact from conservatives on here. Of course media matters is a partisan organization, everyone knows that. However, this does raise an important question. If the prayer room in the Islamic community center were open for other services, would it then be acceptable to opponents since it would no longer be a "mosque"? Or is it the swimming pool, gym, or restaurant that they find most objectionable? My preference has always been to have the community center hold facilities for other faith services - if not a multi-use chapel, have separate prayer room/chapels for Christians or Jews as well. It would be a lot harder to object to it in that case, and since it's such a large, multi-purpose building it makes perfect sense. Maybe Imam Rauf will read Y!Answers and pick up on my suggestion?

NO, in fact he was recently criticised by the jewish anti-defamation league in july 2006 for making a sieg heil salute in jest. he is not anti-semite either but a very objective and entertaining newscaster and opinion caster withhis own show on MSNBC. he is loads of fun to watch. it is called" countdown with Keith Olbermann"
he is so smart and funny that many assume he is jewish, but he is not. he is a bit more liberal than many hard core right wingers so they detest him and lump him in with jewish liberals.
