Manny Ramirez, Johnny Damon, David Ortiz, Curt Schilling, Pedro Martinez, etc were all brought in as free agents and were the major parts of their team. The major components of the Yankees world series teams were Jeter, Williams, Pettitte, Posada and Rivera, all homegrown talent. How can you as a Red Sox fan be proud and are the Red Sox really the ones who are evil?

As far as the other Yankees players on the champsionship teams go: Paul O'Neill was acquired from a trade with the Reds for Roberto Kelly. At the time, it was considered that the Reds got the better deal. Tino Martinez was not a major name, Scott Brosius isn't getting in the hall of fame any time soon and Wade Boggs wasn't wanted by the evil sox organization anymore, nor was Clemens. I'm pointing out the Sox's fan own hypocrisy and they don't like it. Oh, you also have a few former Yankees on your team right now as well (Wells, Lowell).

THATS VERY VALID, of all teams around yankees have the most FRANCHISE players... wake up people they are and always will be the definition of baseball... JETER, WILLIAMS, RIVERA, POSADA, have never played anywhere BUT NY!!!! name any other team with more than 2 players like that...
in ANY SPORT!!!!
and NY is a money market... its more expensive to live here. and the pressure is tremendous... i think that players are overpaid, but the difference between NY salary and other teams is justified, No red sox fans should not be proud of luck and money. and the ones that are, well theyre faux fans, bandwagon jumpers who didnt give a crap about baseball until game seven of the ALCS when boston pulled it outta there *** and mariano riveras family recently died and he pitched a bad game which has only happened like 5 times in his career.
BOOM!

As much as Marlins' fan can in 1997. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Where have you been Yankee fan since the '70s?
By the way, yes, it's great to have homegrown talent but who gives a crap where it comes from as long as you win. I also think Scott Brosius, Paul O'Neill, Jeff Nelson, Roger Clemens, David Wells, David Cone and numerous other pitchers were "major" components as well as the manager Joe Torre. Last I looked they were not "homegrown" Yankees.

What are you talking about...?!?!?! The Yankees has the biggest budget in baseball, yet they can't even get the job done. Nevertheless, the Red Sox are and will always be 'superior' against the Yankees (aka - The Evil Empire) anyways. Go SOX!!!

Coming from someone who's team bought out Randy Johnson, Jason Giambi, Gary Sheffield, Johnny Damon, Bobby Abreu, Cory Lidle, and Craig Wilson your words ring hollow.

You're a Yankees fan and you actually asked this?
Have you no sense of history at all?
It was Daddy George who coined the expression, "If you can't beat them, buy them."
