The wicked Gargamel originally created Smurfette to stir up trouble in the village. But Papa Smurf’s magic turned into the charming little Smurf that everyone adores.

There are no natural female smurfs, the female smurfs were created by the evil wizard Gargamel (as in the case of Smurfette or that little smurf). Or through magic (the old grandma smurf).

I'm not sure, but with all those smurfy Smurfs chasing her around with their rigid little blue smurfs sticking out, I'm sure she wishes she was one of quintuplets so she could get some rest.
