Who actually likes Bjork, I don't get it why is she so popular?, I tried, but I just can't get into her music...Does anyone like or dislike Bjork music ??

Love, love, love Bjork. Love everything about Bjork. The Sugarcubes were great, too.
I instantly loved her voice. I'm continually amazed at the new directions she'll follow, and how successfully she does it. She's made one movie - and she was AMAZING in it (Dancer in the Dark).
She is utterly un-self conscious and almost child-like at times, but has the wisdom and terrific sense of humor of an adult.
It's all subjective, though. If you've given her music a chance and don't like it...well, no big deal.

I like Bjork a lot and I know a lot of people who like her, as well. If you think about it she is more famous for her weird fashion-sense than her music. Her music, though has always been experimental and challenging and her singing is truly unique, the kind you either love or hate. Listen to her album Homogenic and there is no way you wont find a track you like in there.

I used to listen to her a lot - back...say 5 years ago or so and liked her though some of her songs annoyed me. I have not listened to her lately but I can get into some of her songs.. so I am 1/2 & 1/2 I guess.

Is she still singing? I used to listen to her back in the early 90's. I did like the older stuff but I don't know if I would know anything about her now, even if I tired!
