i have a 88 accord lxi charging problem?

the battery alone has 12.75 new and has a fresh charge tested good when the car is running the ohm meter reads 12.55 shouldnt that be up about 13.25

sounds like the alternantor went bad

Older Honda's used to not charge the battery at idle so if that's how you re testing that could be the problem. I do not remember when they started doing that. So your car may not be one of them.
