Can a person who got their breast amputated from breast cancer get plastic surgery?

Yes, my mother had a double masectomy done in January and just had her last reconstructive procedure done about 2 months ago. It takes some time and there is some pain involved, but sometimes if you have really good insurance, the insurance company will pay for part of the reconstruction.

I have heard that this possible in many cases but sometimes not possible in others. This question really should be asked to a plastic surgeon who specializes in reconstructive surgery after cancer surgery.

a person who as had there breast remove because of cancer can have them reconstructed this usually happens as a all in one operation mastectomy then the reconstruction of the breast or breasts

Haven't you heard of 'Fake Boobs'? Yes , you can have plastic surgery after a' mastectomy,'(that is the correct way of addressing the issue) if there is no evidence of any lingering cancer cells and there is also a sufficient amount of tissue(skin) left to graft.

yes my mother did. She had her right breast removed and they put in a false one after she healed and got a lift on the other side
