He's a perverted cult leader who deserves to rot in prison for a long time (he also looks a lot like Bob Saget, don't you think?) However he probably won't receive a very lengthy sentence. Sadly, from what I've read about Jeffs' cult, the FLDS, even his arrest won't make much of a difference. They have contingency plans in place and a lot more needs to happen in order to help the child brides. The local governments, police, child protective services, and such need to be much more proactive in cracking down on this cult. So far these authorities have been reluctant to help - partially because they are afraid the FLDS could turn into another Waco situation.

Honestly I think that his Cult doesn't know anything abou it cause I thought I heard that they don't have any TV or radio so how could they heard that he is cought or captured. So I wonder if someone else is taking over. I hope not that would be horrible.
I am filled with joy that he is captured, but shocked that he is acting so innocent and obeying everybody in the process.
I just hope now the people in that community will be able to go out and live a free life if they know how to and ask for help in how to get help and that people will offer help to them.

Politics and Religion are touchy subjects..My personal opinion only..I am thrilled they caught him and I hope he goes to jail for life.... I think the Sec that he leads is pretty much a cult... The women are not allowed to get an education and are taught to be sub-servient. Jeffs wives are all getting govt assistance while he sits back and rolls in his wealth.... Its sick and crazy. The man has 60 kids..Some of which are probably the result of incest....Women should not be treated like that and young girls should not have to be submitted to that kind of torture..... But thats just my opinion....

One less pervert on the loose. The media has someone to keep them busy for a few days then things will go back to normal. The attention of the country should be on rebuilding our weak infrastructure and regaining the position of leadership that we held for almost 65 years.
From the start of WWII the United States took the load of the world and kept it free. The manufacturing output of this country supplied the vast majority of equipment used to defeat the Nazi's.
Our ability to keep Russia in place enabled eastern Europe to obtain their freedom and left Us as the one superpower. Now China has taken our place as the major supplier of world goods and also the emerging super power.
Our time in the sun has drawn to a close and the divisive forces in this country threaten to make us the France of the 21st century. Wise up and put your attention on real issues.

Hallelujah! Praise the LORD!!! He's a criminal of the worst order. Procuring young girls to be wives for old men. These girls have had their lives ruined by him. He deserves to rot in jail until he dies. And let's not put him in a segregated cell. Put him in the general population. They'll take care of him! OK. I'm being judgmental, and that's not very Christian. But, you asked us to be honest. As far as I'm concerned, he's a pimp, a polygamist and a pedophile. Using select scripture to bolster his claims to having as many wives as he wants. He's evil personified!!!!!

you capture one and there will always be another. people will still follow him aslong as he is alive. i dont really feel anything because i am not a polygamist, but i do feel for the several young boys lives he destroyed and the innocent girls who are married off to sick old wrinkly men with old balls.

doesnt change all the sh** he's caused but it's a start. unfortunately in the world of religion another one will probably come along to replace him as long as there's still believers, but hopefully with less power than the one before.
