I don't know about that . But where I was brought up they told me that if you nose was itchy that meant you were going to have
company . If your right hand was itching it meant you were coming into a lot of money . When my right eye twitches or is jumping as you said it is a jumping nerve .

If there were, they would mention there is little known about your affliction. There is empirical evidence that has to do with twitches; however, there has been no documented cause beyond happenstance.
So, I suppose, you could say it's from any of 10's of causes ... whatever pleases you."

1.) The eyebal is a supersonic eyeball fighting gravity, and trying to make its way home. 2.) You have subjected it to some great trauma, and it's trying to jump out of your head and commit suicide. Get some duct tape-- the clear kind. 3.) Maybe it is sensitive to sound frequency. 4.) Maybe it is a jack-in-the-box, and it just needs to be wound up. 5.) Et cetera. Get some Windex. I suggest the fresh mountain berry flavor.

It means you need to cool off and take a breather. I'm pretty sure it's a nervous thing. Try something warm and/or sweet to drink and rest for a moment. Take deep breaths and try to calm down. Think rationally.

It has got to mean you are pissed, because I just got finished writing a note to yahoo violation for my answer to the featured Q on cancer by Cindy Crawford & my right eye is twitching. I can't stand this "NEW" politically correct censorship. It violates itself! Definately the right eye!

I get that all the time...usually when I'm tired, been on the computer too long or I've been drinking too much. As far as old wives' tales go, though, I'm not sure what it means.

that happens to me a lot and it really scares me cause one time i overheard some lady saying that she had been through so much stress and that her eye lid started twiching and then her lip and one day she had like a face stroke or something and half of her face was paralized for like a week. :-O so when that happens, try to relaxxxxxxxx...
