Eyeliner looks good on top and bottom using a thin line across both. Too thick a line will make you look like you are dressed for Halloween.

I use eyeliner on both top and bottom lids when i am going out.
I usually use a liquid liner on the top lid and a kohl pencil on the bottom lid. Straight line on the top lid and a rough line on the bottom blending with a cotton tip i find works for me. It gives my eyes a smoky look that also really stands out.

To elongate eyes, blend it out from the outer two-thirds of the eyelids, top and bottom. To add depth to the upper lid (like East Asian or almond-shaped eyes), apply a thin line of black-brown (not kohl black) along the top lid only, then apply darker shadow to the crease. Any other eyeshape, don't use it at all, and instead use eyeshadow along the base of the lashes only. Dark-skinned women (of African, East Indian, or Indigenous American, and dark-skinned Latinas), go for it! Just be sure to blend it in a little, so you don't get the thick black "magic marker" look. That's just weird looking.

Okay, eyeliner all depends. if you want the cat eye look , first you do the bottom ( only half , I put anyways.) and then the top you pull your eye lid a little tightly slanted ( not much) and follow it from there. then to make it look natural if you have sorta roundish eyes you then after putting on the eyeliner you Dabb your eyeliner pencil just on the outer side of eye lid on just the upper corners to make a hint of the color. smearing it in to where it's only on the outer part of the eyes making your eyes look more natural cat eyeish!

if your going to put eyeliner on the top use a liquid one and i suggest loreal superline because it makes the line really thin and it gives you a steady hand and also have little flicks coming out, makes your eyes look more defined and when applying it to the bottom now if you mean under the eye line then no but if you mean in the eye line then yes and again i suggest loreal kohl eyeliner

i think if you apply it lightly on top and bottom, it looks great!! especially if it complements your eye color, eye shadow or outfit. in the past i had always used black. but now i try to stay away from it. it can make your eyes look smaller. maybe for going out and you need a more "dramatic" effect , then black is cool!! experiment!! try just top or bottom, or even the top and half-bottom, lol. you can also use eyeshadow as liner. good luck!!

yes eyeliner can look really good if put along the top of the upper eyelid and underneath the bottom eyelid but use a cottonbud to smooth the line underneath the bottom eyelid so it does not look too harsh

When it is used on the top and bottom, it brings out your eyes, if applied lightliy, be careful as you dont want to look like a goth!

Yeah, if you have striking eyes. I do that (only very fine lines so it doesn't look too heavy) and it accentuates my green eyes. Make sure you do it very neatly and with liquid eyeliner, or it will look a mess. And don't do that flicky thing at the side, it looks odd.
