wat the hell is the point of having sex at like 14-17?! i mean ive been reading all of these people asking if their pregnant and their like scared. if they dont wanna get pregnant, then y r they having sex at an early age?

You can have safe sex, if you are in a relationship at 16,17 and feel ready, its not really wrong, although 14-15 might be a bit emotionally immature depending on the individual. Of course, there is nothing wrong with waiting for as long as you want.
Condoms and the pill protect against 99.5% pregnancy and disease.

I agree! If they are all so worried about being pregnant (and they are so young), they ought not be having sex or at the very least, USING BIRTH CONTROL. There seem to be thousands of kids from the age of 13 onward, who spend all their time having sex, then worrying about the aftermath. Ridiculous!

I think its kinda good havinmg a young mom.I'm 14 and my mom had me at 20. In the situation noone is really goin to think much about the future when sex is about to happen.Some think they can and others think they can't get pregnant.

They are not educated.Many parents shy away from telling their children about sex.The younger ones then go to their friends and peers who are teaching them but it is inaccurate information they are receiving.They are not aware of the risks involved with having sex.Not only can they get pregnant but yet they can get an std that they will have to live with for the rest of their lives.They need to be educated on their bodies,about sex and its risks and consquences as well as ways to protect themselves properly.Its the parents job,not the schools,media,and peers.That only allows for them to get inaccurate information that is only going to lead them to doing something they arent prepared or ready for.

I totally agree. I'm 13 and two of my friends have both been pregnant. (they both had abortins WHICH I'M TOTALLY AGAINST).I'm still a virgin though and proud to say it.
