No, it is not normal to feel like that. It sounds like you might have a bladder infection or urinary tract infection. If so, most likely it will not get better on its own. You might want to see a doc in case you need antibiotics.
These sites give lots of good information. Best of luck.

No you probably have a urinary tract infection - see your gyn. If it feels like you have to go and can't this would be a UTI. Sometimes you can get rid of it by drinking a lot of fluids - water and clear liquids & escpecially cranberry juice - just drink drink drink. Also, you can get AZO cranberry juice pills to take in most drugstores if this is a frequent problem. Sometimes this could be an indication of a kidney infection as well so I would see your primary as well just in case. The article below gives more symptoms that those of frequent urination and going one time right after the last but I never got the other symptoms that they list.
You could also have a small bladder that cause this with no infection. I would ask your doctor about it though.
DO YOU HAVE A UTI?
Typical symptoms of a UTI include a strong feeling that you need to urinate, a need to urinate very often, burning and pain while you are urinating, and a change in the way your urine looks or smells. Since many other conditions have these same kinds of symptoms, it's important to talk to your healthcare professional. This is the best person to make a diagnosis and tell you how to treat your UTI. This section explains the symptoms you may have if you have a UTI.

You could have a UTI or bladder infection that could make it's way to a kidney infection. Does it hurt when you pee too? I just got over a bladder infection and had no symptoms besides peeing a lot. But then, I'm on diuretics so that's normal for me. I would definitely see a doc and get a culture done. There is also a kit where you can test yourself but I don't know how accurate that is. In any case, I would still see your doc. It may not be serious now but it could work it's way into something much worse and you don't need that. Good luck.

First off, did this just start happening? Second, have you had sex? What I'm assuming that maybe causing this urgency for you to use the bathroom constanty and if you said yes to both questions is that you may have UTI, urinary tracht infection or bladder infection which is ultimately almost the same. If this is true, you may start to notice that you will begin to have abdominal and lower back pains. Check out www.webmd.com and check for your symptons. If, you do realize that you have this infection, what you can do to decrease the pain and even maybe get rid of the infection itself, is to drink plenty of cranberry juice. LOTS. If you drink about 3 gallons in a week it'd probably be gone and remain abstinence for that time being. If not, ask a doctor and they will have supplementary pills to offer.

Oh yea! sounds like a urinary tract infection to me, sometimes there is slight pain in ur bladder, and maybe you can only urinate very little amounts but as soon as you are done you get up and out of the bathroom you feel like you gotta go real bad all over again! Drink plenty of water! and also lots of cranberry juice, its a home remedy, don't know how long it will last but it is usually caused by holding in the urge to urinate to long! If you have to use the bathroom, GO! Don't wait! :)

Well the urge to constantly rush to the bathroom accompanied with a feeling that you need to urinate some more or you didn't urinate enough is a sign of high blood sugar. You should get a blood sugar test done.
Like most answers have suggested that you have UTI is incorrect coz you would have had fever by now or you would have felt a burning sensation while passing urine. In either case you should go to a doctor for proper check-up. What you can do immediately is stop having alot of sugar, if you dont have alot of sugar in your daily diet avoid the little bit that you do like in your tea/coffee, fizzy drinks, cakes, chocolates. Even starchy foods have high sugar content. Go slow first cut the sugar in your caffiene drinks and see if that makes a difference, also include alot of water in your diet, juicy fruits like watermelon really help.

You may very well have a bladder infection. Drink lots of water or cranberry juice to help flush your system. Go to the doctor if this lasts more than one day.

It is NOT normal. You could have over-active bladder! I have the same exact problem. My doctor wants me to get tested for over-active bladder, but I can't afford it right now. It could just be an infection. Definitely get tested.
