I hated Angela's designs, and she didn't deserve to win. However, isn't it kinda mean to put someone on a plane, fly them to Paris, and then send them packing right back home?? Couldn't they have just told her in New York that she was out??

Yeah, but it's a reality show.

I was thinking the same thing. . . I actually don't like Angela too much as a person either especially since her mother for some odd reason happened to use all the key words judges use to criticize outfits when she criticized Jeff's work. I personally think Angela did feed her the lines to make sure jeffrey got out. As for her departure from paris, I thought it'd be jacked up for someone to have to leave on arrival until I realized it was Angela. I guess she could have declined the paid first class trip and stayed in Paris a bit, I mean she was there, right? :)

Flying to Paris was a test run. The garment was designed for a jetsetter. The whole point of flying them out to paris was to see how well the garments held up How would they know how functional they were if they werent put to the test. Angela's was the only garment that ended up getting wrinkled. They wouldnt have known that if they stayed in New York.
also, how do you know that that all happened as fast as it did on TV? that new article in Entertainment Weekly said that sometimes it can take up to four hours to make a final decision on whos in, and whos out. They could have been there for a while before she was out. Although I understand why you think it was mean. but thats fashion. one days your in, and the next day, your out.
i espeacially liked how there was no "auf Weidershen" but rather an "au revoir angela!" in the french accent.

No, they wanted to see how the outfits travelled. I don't think there is any reason to feel sorry for her--she is on this show where her design work gets national publicity, she gets to meet some of the top people in her field, and she gets a free first class trip to Paris. That's about as good as it gets for an aspiring fashion designer. Besides, if they told her before she wouldn't have gotten to go to Paris at all.

Yeah, well I guess that wouldn't build up the suspense. Besides, the task was to create a look that you would travel in and the only way to test their designs was to make them travel. I don't really care that Angela's gone, I hated her designs and those stupid things she put all over her clothes. I just hope Uli or Micheal wins!

I completly agree w/ u. Angela w/ her flowered patterns was just too much. It does suck that she had to fly back to NY, but at least she got a chance to visit another country, plus it was a good opportunity for her to be on the show.

My fav designers: Michael, Uli, Laura, Kayne :)

Give me a break. A free trip to Paris. What do you think they just shoved her right back on the plane. Don't be ridiculous. She got a paid vacation.

yeah, that was kinda sad and it seemed like a huge waste of money as well. At least she got to see some of Paris, even if it was only for a few measly hours.

i don't like angela's designs either. sometimes they are nice but most of time they are too gaudy for me...
i thought that they should have sent her home when she didn't try to work as a team on the second design challenge.

hahahaha. ... omg yes! last night was cruel, but dont you think that it's even more cruel if they say "you're out, the rest of you get to go to paris"... i mean, since it is tv, it made it seem like she had to go RIGHT AWAY.... i bet she got to stay there for a bit, see the city. i dont think anyone is THAT cruel to make her leave right away... she did look like crap though... plus, NY is only about 5 hours away from Paris....

I like Jeffrey so much, but ever since he was being a dic*k to angela's mom, i didnt like him so much....

those are my thoughts. yea. it is f'ed up.

you can probably see her exit interview on bravotv.com

I'm so glad she's gone, and as far as I'm concerned, I would've loved to see her pushed off the plane too. She deserved being kicked off, her outfits are absolutely hideous.

That sounded so mean! Sorry.
But I really can't stand her and I'm so happy she was voted off. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Kayne so I'm happy he got lucky and stayed.

Go Uli, Kayne and Jeffery!
;)
