its starts in 2007 - they haven't decided on an actual date yet - that will be done nearer the time. the filming started back in april and finishes in sept. they have actually filmed behind my friend' house and he watched them from upstairs in his house. they find a body in a garden shed !!!
Cant wait till it starts - first series was fab!!

A second series, due for transmission in 2007, started production in April 2006.

I'm 99% sure I saw them filming in central Manchester on the way to work this morning - I saw the car they use (an old Cortina/Granada?), plus there was an old delivery van (presumably to be use use to block the view of some modern building) and a load of extras dressed in 70's gear.
Oh, and it wasn't a bunch of nutters - there were lights and camera crews about lol.
