The idea is to make sure that adjectives, which are words to describe nouns and pronouns, are only used that way and adverbs, which describe verbs (ie actions) and other adverbs are only used in the way they should be. Thus i would modify your sentences thus.

Unfortunately the sentences aren't very long. Just remember that a noun is a 'thing' and adjectives describe them like a shiny, red fire engine' and verbs are actions. Adverbs usually end with ly such as 'he ran quickly to the wooden door.' There 'quickly is the adverb;, 'ran' the verb, 'wooden' an adjective and 'door' a noun. So 'ran' is an action, 'quickly' describes how he did it, 'door' is an object and 'wooden' describes it.

I don't know if you k'boarded incorrectly, but look at the last phrase "solve these problems quick and easy."

"Quick" and "easy" are adjectives, which modify nouns, as in a quick fox, or easy exam. The fox ran quickly, and the child easily wrote the difficult exam.

Look at each noun, pronoun and verb. Figure out which words are describing (modifying) them. Are the words adjectives or adverbs?

Adjectives modify nouns & pronouns; adverbs modify other adjectives and verbs.

Eg: green coat: green = adjective, modifying noun coat.
green wool coat: green = adverb modifying adjective wool modifying noun coat.
He ate quickly. Ate = verb, quickly = adverb. Note: He did not eat quick = wrong. He ate fast = wrong. (He might drive a fast car.)

Hope it helps.

For one, the most glaring thing I see above is "quick and easy". It should read "quickly and easily."

Quick and easy are adjectives.

With the --ly at the end as suffixes, they become adverbs.
