I think you can get the meaning if used in this context.
"Well if you think you can do a better job raising these kids than I can, you go right ahead. More power to ya!"

Occasionally it is used less sarcastically to demonstrate you are behind someone in his/her efforts to accomplish whatever task is being attempted.

kinda like good luck, or a sarcastic way of saying I don't think you can do it...use the context of it, "hey if you think you can then more power to you."
It all depends on the context or how it was said too though...

It essentially means the same thing as "You go girl!" or "good for you/go for it". Often meant somewhat sarcastically.

To me it means "better you than me" or more clearly, I admire you for doing what ever it is that you're doing, but I couldn't do it.
