That happens to me also, I think it is from concentrating on something that puts your eyes in a weird predictament (sp?), it almost looks like the dots after staring at a bright light.

Could be a brain tumor. Nope, not kidding... that's what the doctors thought it was for me. They then theorized that it was a swollen pituitary gland pressing on my optic nerves. That could be your problem... See an eye doctor. Now.

Floaters (or muscae volitantes meaning "flying flies") are little "cobwebs" or specks that float about in your field of vision. They are small, dark, shadowy shapes that can look like spots, thread-like strands, or squiggly lines. i would go see your doctor.

I sometimes get this after looking at a light and then looking away again. However, if it happens a lot, it's probably best to consult your doctor.

Intense radiation had burned your retina a bit. It should repair itself. If not, then it could be lack of oxygen to the brain.

That happenes to me sometimes as well , I'm not sure what it is ,, but I do agree with those that have advised you to see Dr. I just haven't found it bothersome enough to do that. :)
