Is it any good? Is it along the same lines as The Screwtape Letters? I can't find it at my library, so I'd have to buy a copy. Would it be of interest to someone who isn't very religious?

Yeah, I read it in high school and just loved it. I don't think it's very much like the screwtape letters. It's a novel that sits all by itself. And it deals with religion, but in a greco roman god kind of way, so you don't have to be religious to enjoy it. Of course, you don't have to be very religious to enjoy most novels. I noticed it in my bookshelf the other day. Maybe I'll read it again.

It's very good. I don't know "The Screwtape Letters," so I can't say whether it's comparable. It would definitely be of interest to someone who isn't very religious. You can probably get a used copy cheap through amazon.com.

I enjoyed it, but I must say I found it quite different from his other books, and reads almost like mythology. It's a story, so I think a non-religious person would enjoy it, just like many non-religious people enjoy Lewis' Narnia series.
