It just seems to me that people need one more reason to hate Bush so they say he carried out 9/11.

Yes. Conspiracy theories are as old as dirt.

Definately.

People always want to think things are more complicated than they are. Also, so many things are hard to understand about 9/11, and people are quick to think that the explanation is wrong, even though they have no real evidence to the contrary..

Think of it this way: People say jet fuel wouldn't comprimise the integrity of the building. How the hell do they know that? How many times in history has a commercial airliner flown into a building that size? Or any building?

See what I mean? People are free to make up whatever explanation they want, since it has never happened before. There is no precident.

What really irritates me is that these people refuse to listen to logic. They generally call you a sheep for believing the news, yet they believe any clearly biased website they come across that says what they want to hear.

I certainly do not believe that Bush "carried out" 9/11. It is fairly obvious, from the amount of vacation he was taking, that he had no role whatsoever in "carrying out" the attack on the WTC. Such an attack undoubtedly took a lot of work on the part of the terrorists, and President Bush was nowhere near anything that looked like work anytime in the August prior.

However, I do think it is possible that a more vigilant president and more vigorous executive branch of government might have stopped the attack. After all, a predecessor administration was able to stop the millennium bombing the very same organization (Al Qaeda) was planning....

Admiralbob77 expressed my sentiments exactly.
While I do not subscribe to the views of the current administration, they had nothing directly to do with what happened on 9/11.
Also, no one needs to look very hard to find one more reason to dislike Bush. The writing is on the wall, he is what he is.

It took about 10 years to plan the attack so the answer is no... due to the complex logistics and financing of a project of this magnitude takes long and careful planning. Bin Laden didn't do it because of Bush. In genearl, he hates Globalization, and America is the driver of Globalization. The twin towers (world trade center) were the targets because they are an awesome representation of Globalization (name gives it away). Airlines were attacked also because international travel fosters Globalization.

Not everyone thinks that. Yes, Bush is a bonehead, but terrorists carried out 9/11. We need to remember that.

9/11 was not, I wish people would stop trying to turn things into something they are not, what more proof do these people need, some people have the truth right in front of them, and go seeking something else to stir up trouble.
As far as Bush is concerned, he is not liked because of the war, and if they can pin more on him, then they try to.

Yes, always question authority. The government wanted to pull off a similar attack in 1962 in Miami and blame Cuba for it? Sound familiar?

I am sure that no matter what there would be some theory about how our government had something to do with it. We always have to have a good conspiracy theory about every major event that happens in this country.
