I don't mean to be rude but I know how some people out there think about color their hair during pregnancy.
"I am looking for a natural hair dye to color my hair and where exactly can I go buy it at, please also provide the brand and how it worked for you?. Thank you. by the way I'm 6 months pregnant and getting married soon, so I only want to do it once.

My aunt uses Henna.. You can find it in middle eastern stores it can also be used for skin.

My husband is from India and they use Henna. It's a natural herb. It makes your hair kinda reddy though. So, beware of that. You can get it at any Middle Eastern/Indian Grocers.

Tell me where you are and I'll see if I can't find one for you if you don't know of one.

As far as other colors...it depends on your natural hair color. Generally if you want to go darker or just some semi-perm grey cover you can stain. Staining has no chemicals and is all herbal. It actually makes your hair better and healthy than before you did it!

I went to the salon and had it done. But, I know it was on the same line as the Aveda (all natural) products. I also had highlights done...and I had no problems with the chems in the highlights. Like you said, if your only doing it once...it's not gonna be an issue.

No matter what brand you use remember often in pregnancy the color dose not take well so you might want to do only a few days before the wedding or it might not look fresh. I used a regular dye 5 months pregnant it fell out 5 days later.

Try Henna, it comes in all colors and washes out in about three weeks. It has never been proven that coloring hair can harm your baby, especially when its not done regulary. You should however consider having it done by a professional as the hormone levels in pregnant women can affect the color intensity of certain hair creams and you do not want orange or purple hair on your wedding day -lol-
Congratulations with your wedding and pregnancy.

You can use any hair dye to color your hair while prego. Just do it in a well ventalated room. I am 37 weeks and I just colored mine yesterday, the color held just fine.I asked my doctor this same question and she said it was fine.
*whoever told you that you dye your baby's hair is not only wrong, but also a complete idiot.*

I just went to the hair salon to have it done when I was pregnant. I homeworked it with quite a few hairstylists...and they told me as long as I wasn't doing it every week...once was fine. You do run the risk of green hair due to hormones..but I did it twice, and it was fine.

There are no studies that prove dying your hair is bad for you while you are pregnant. I even asked my doc. if it was okay before I done it and she said it was fine. I am 31 weeks pregnant and I have dyed my hair twice so far. I use Garnier. My hair looks and feels great.

something that would not have ammonia is safest whilst pregnant. yet after the fist trimester it is secure to shade your hair with any hair dye. only make specific that the room is surely ventilated.
