You have to change it to mp3

As some people have already said, it's a problem with the media player you're using to try and play the song back. mp4 is a legitimate audio type but it's relatively new and not all players support it. You could install something like WinAmp which support mp4 striaght away, or you could install an mp4 codec that will allow Windows Media Player (if that's what you're using) to play mp4 files:

Note: even after you install that, Windows Media Player might still not 'think' it plays mp4 files so you might have trouble browsing for the track to play it. So, when you do File->Open on WMP to browse for the file, change the 'Files of type' drop down at the bottom of the Open dialogue to 'Any File' so you can see the mp4 track to open it. Or, just right-click on the mp4 file and select "Open With" followed by "Choose Program" and select Windows Media Player from the list.

whatever your player is probably can't play mp4's. itunes, winamp and windows media player (with additional codecs installed) can play mp4's. not a virus or anything. but you might want to limit your searches to mp3's only so you don't run into this problem again.

After you get it downloaded go to library on limewire, then explore and move it to "my music" in documents. Then go there and click on it and it should play. If you have windows media player, when you are in my music, right click and go to play with media player when it comes up you will see title on right side click on it and add to playlist. this helps to hold the song. Sometimes if you just add to playlist from limewire library it wont hold the song.

Use Winamp to try to play it to make sure that it wont play. It may just be the player you're using.
