I was wondering because even though I'm only 15 I have a lot of fine lines around my eyes and they're darker than the rest of my face. My parents don't have lots of lines around their eyes but my older brother does even though they're obviously older than us. One thing I've noticed is that me and my older brother haven't always worn our glasses even though we need them but my parents do wear theirs. I recently got contacts and a new pair of glasses so I am taking care of my eyes now though. I was wondering do you think my vanity was actually making me look older by giving me lines I shouldn't of gotten for at least for another 10 years and is their anything I can do to make them go away quicker? Oh and I do get enough sleep so that can't be it.

Squinting can cause facial lines not only around your eyes but your forehead and inbetween eyebrows. Smilling can cause facial lines around your mouth... its a lose lose situation. Dont worry though, when your older you can get botox! I'm just kidding. Once you have the lines they are there to stay. Your young though... I would suggest continuing to wear your glasses and/or contacts and moisturizing in the am and pm.

Yes it does cause fine lines but also you may be proned to them earlier than some other person. Wear your glasses and sun glasses in the future. There are great creams on the market by olay, avon, loreal that will help and they are affordable. If in the future when your older and this problem persists you can see a dematoligist who will be able to correct those lines but until then use a good cream for fine lines(the ones mentioned above a rated the top in their class) and wear your contacts and glasses.

Yes, not only is it a good idea to wear your glasses to keep from squinting when trying to see; but also wear sunglasses outside in bright sunlight, the squinting and UV rays will cause age lines in your face and eyes. You are young, so may not be a big problem right at the moment, but in time it will catch up with you.
