I've squeeked by on once a month. I wasn't happy about it. (Because he changed from physical attention every date, to pretty much nothing after the honeymoon!)

I'm sure most people like to EAT more than once a month. Or like to drink, watch tv, meet with friends, go to work, sleep, relax, shower, bathe and enjoy themselves more than once a month.

Bills have to at least be paid at least once a month, as well as laundry, grocery shopping etc. IN SHORT - if you want me to act like a wife at least once a month, I need to be treated like a wife - at least once a month. Not a maid. Don't get married if you don't want to experience that intimacy.

The Scriptures refer to it as the marital due - it's the mate's responsibility to within reason, meet the other's needs so that that one doesn't feel forced to look for it outside of the marriage and violate those laws.

But really, barring illness, once a week per my sanity. (What I desire is once a day, but once or twice a week is the national average, and seems fine enough.) But keep in mind that the more you have sex, the more you increase your desire and natural response/hormones, to wanting sex!

I hope kissing and hugging and cuddling are outside of the statistic you're asking about. Those should definitely be on your daily checklist.

Here's the question... why ask about the minimum? Why wouldn't a husband be excited about being with his wife, whether or not circumstances allow for that? Where is the lack of desire coming from? And since people are unique and particular... what we think is a basic minimum may not meet her unique needs. In which case, communication sounds like the absolute must in this relationship.

Best wishes.

Depends on the person. I say at least once a day, even if it's just cuddling. You need to do something to stay connected.

It depends on the person, you sound like you don't want to have sex with your wife? that is a little weird

It would depend on the woman's needs/desires. Some people need sex more often than others.

Is your wife humping you ragged?

I'd say 6 times a day minimum.

It depends on what they both feel comfortable with. What does the man's wife say?

As many as he thinks are necessary.
