Either change your number, or ring the phone company to see if you can get a block put on a particular number. If neither of these seem an option to you, simply do not answer the phone, or if you do and it is him, hang up straight away. DO NOT talk to him.... I don't know if you respond to him when he rings, or comes to your job.... but if you talk to him, you are giving him hope and he will continue to seek you out for any kind of contact.
Also think about what you said to him when you left him.... were you definite about what you said .... or did you say something that may have given him reason to think that there was still a chance for the two of you? I had the same problem with an ex of mine, he just wouldnt believe me when I said that it was over. I had to stand there, give him my engagement ring back, and then turn and walk away. Do you have any of his belongings at your house? Pack them up, then get a friend to drop them at his house.... he may finally understand that it is over... giving him a sense of closure and finality.

You just need to be strong. Don't give in. He will keep trying, your right, but as long as you keep saying no. He'll eventually stop. It will hurt, it will be weird, you'll cry in the inside, but don't give in. Think of your future. Good luck. And be strong.

Problem Resolution 101
The simplest and most effective way of solving any problem is to remove the source of the problem.
By whatever means necessary.

You explain to him that you dont want to be with him, you want to be alone, and you want him to leave you alone.... if that doesnt work you can tell him that if he continues to come by you will put a restraining order on him. then if he does come by, they'll take his happy as* away
