Not really. Iran is the opposite of Pakistan. In Pakistan, the people are inherently prone to voicing, evoking radicalism as opposed to their government, which is by and large secular, and adopts a more moderate tone.

In Iran, it is the government that voices radicalism etc, the people generally are not prone to follow this. They live amicably with different races, by and large. Do you know that there is a Jewish community in Iran and that it has been there for decades? Why? Because it is their country of birth also, people understand this, even Iranians.

Now for Ahmedinijad, you must understand that he is only a puppet, the real power lies with Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Khatami, the previous President was more moderate, so Ahmedinijad needs to do something radical, to earn his stripes and appease/show the Ayatollahs.
His star is shining bright now, but if this whole nuclear issue blows up in his face and Iran has to bear international ridicule, public opinion will move very quickly against him. And the Ayatollahs will decide he is a liability and show him the door. (best case scenario for him)

But this is not fascism and I don't think Iranians will be accept it so easily.

Iran's president is more obvious about his destructive intentions than Hitler was.

Hitler, leader of the Socialist Workers Party, at least pretended for a while to only have small-scale plans to deal with Poland. Ahmadinejad has stated that he intends to start Armageddon so the 12th Imam can come to Earth.

Like Hitler, Ahmadinejad is making allies among Leftist and Islamist tyrants in the world who would also like to defeat obstacles to their ambitions. He has close alliances with Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, Kim Jong Il of North Korea, Russia and others.

(Note: Hitler had an Islamist SS division setting up his 'final solution' in the Middle East)

America and Britain are, once again, being really lame in not seeming to recognize the threat the enemy Axis poses until it is too late. France is stupidly siding with the Axis. Leftists in American media are doing all they can to dismiss that threat, to keep Americans uninformed and mentally disarmed, to aid their Leftist allies abroad. This also happened during Hitler's time.

Well, hmm, not really. He is not claiming to be superior, he is more asserting that Iran has equal rights to other countries...
