Pop-up are small windwos which opens without you clicking them to open mostly when you browsing the Internet thorugh a browser. Most of they are unwanted stuff forced on you to watch..., u can turn them off by enabling the pop-up blocking in your browser or using a good third party pop-up blockers

Pop-Up's can be described in two ways:
1) As a Web-Base:
When U try to open some of the links in the browser, some other links is automatically executed in an new window of the browser. Thats window known as Pop-Up...The appearance of that Pop-Up would be be without Menu bars, Tool bars or either Address bars...And the size of this window would be smaller as compare to the other windows of the browser...
eg: You can say Yahoo Insider as a Pop-Up which automatically opens when you log into the Yahoo Messenger...
2) Pop-Ups for showing the menu to perform certain tasks:
These are the most common Pop-Ups and are generally shown when u right click on certain place in the window...
eg: The Pop-Up menu will be displayed when u right click in the any place in the document of Ms-Word...

When you open a website, some more websites or advertisements open up along with it. You did not intend to open the ads though, which are very irritating at times and very very distracting. It can also affect your computer if it has a virus.

a pop-up is a window when opens automatically. for ex. when u open www.rediffmail.com a windows opens containing advertisement. sometimes it has viruses. use a pop-up blocker to block them. if u hv a Netscape8.1 browser then it automatically block the pop-ups. IE5 don't.

the pop-up is a gprogram written usually for advertising but it is what is called a modal box that has no menu. your browser can nlock these pop-ups or allow them to show according to your settings

it is SPY WARE on the Internet,everyone want to know what u r interested in.than they can bomb you with wide range of **** you do not wish 2 know about!!
