WOW is the biggest, funnest, greatest MMORPG to date. The reason for it was the long but extensive testing and development of the game. I think PC Gamer said it best when they did their MMORPG review about 5 years ago;
"This game is still in Beta and it is better then most MMORPGs on the market today"

Guild Wars is free and already has an expansion. Graphics are great. If your looking for free I suggest that one.

guild wars is better than world of warcraft. guild wars has no monthly fees, and presentationwise, it looks amazing
