I've never been, but a lot of my friends are from Mexico, and I'd really like to go some day. I'm more like my Mexican friends in my tastes and values than a lot of my gringo friends. I was once told that I may be guera on the outside, but I was hispanic on the inside.
Mexicans are just like anyone else; some are really nice, and some are not so much. Most of the people I know are kind, ethical, family oriented people. And in general, they are much more forgiving of our spanish that we are of their english.

Mexico City is just a intriguing capital that beguiles its readers with countless choices therefore choose the most effective selection with hotelbye . Mexico City is one of the greatest metropolitan parts on the planet, with 16 boroughs and more than 300 neighbourhoods. Many of the very visited tourist attractions in Mexico City are focused in the Historic Centre, such as the Plaza de la Constitucion or Zocalo, the National Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, Templo Mayor, Palace of Fine Arts and Alameda Park. Several blocks north of the Palace of Fine Arts, Plaza Garibaldi is one of the finest areas in Mexico City to listen to live mariachi music.

I've been a couple times and plan to take my spouse as he has never been out of the country. I have traveled the world and I just see us all as people. The Human Race. We're all different ~ we're all the same.
I went to Mexico with my parents several times. My parents are very pro-active and I was studying missions in school & so they started taking me to them everywhere from San Raphael down to Baja California and taught me everything they could about Mexico & Mexican culture and we would seek out new ways of practicing spanish.
So this one time we were in Tijuana when I was say, 10 & my sister was 3 and we were walking along the streets and checking out the stores/stalls and as we got to the back of this store (it was very deep and narrow) the Store owner offered to BUY my sister & I from my dad. Now understand we would think this was a joke or some language misunderstanding but the guys line was, 'You buy from me, I buy from you' and he offered more than once for his daughters & would he consider it -- at least.
A decade later my whole family took a cruise to mexico & had thanksgiving on the boat. It was all honeymoon - tourist style- on that trip with Acapulco, Mazatlan & Cabo San Lucas. We got on really well with the staff and they gave us excellent tips and helped us acheive the less touristy sights of interest.
I know a group of people who take youth groups to Mexico every summer and they spend a month learning about the country and it's people & they work together to build new shelters at each site in keeping with the Leave the World a Better Place motto, do what you can to make it better.
I'd like to go to Costa Rica next ;)
peace be with you

I went when I was a teenager, over 10 years ago. I remember thinking that it was very vibrant, and I LOVED the food. What passes for Mexican food in some parts of the United States is awful. Everyone I met was very friendly- some of the men might have been a bit too friendly, though at 15 I was flattered by the attention.

I love Mexico my family is from their and I would love to live there but the only wrong in mexico is that there needs to be more jobs with better benefits so the people from here in US wont be mad or start hating us because we want the American Dream just like everyone else.

I honeymooned in Mexico. The people there were very nice. Everyone was quick to say hola in the morning and very helpful when we had a question. We went snorkleing, deep sea fishing, and swimming with the dolphins. we had such a great time there, and can't wait to go back. I can't believe how much fun it was, and how nice people were. I loved one of our waiters at this resturaunt we went to, I wish we could get service like that here in the states! your people are great!

Was in Guadalajara Mexico about 11 yrs ago and loved it. The only thing that broke my heart were the families living in card board boxes.

It was beautiful. Someone broke in our van and stole all of our stuff but other than that we had a great time. The ocean is beautiful. We were in Akumal and surrounding areas including Telum and Coba. Back then you still could walk up the pyramids though.

I vacationed in Mexico City.
I thought that the city was dirty. I thought the people deceitful and harassing.
I couldn't believe how children were forced to work while parents watched.
My daughter's Teacher is Mexican and I really like her.
