I have an intergrated ATI Radeon XPress 200. If I put a cheap 64MB graphics card in my computer so I can use S-Video, will it take memory from the system if needed for games.

In other words, would the cheap 64MB card be better than my intergrated graphics?

Thanks!

No your graphics card memory and your system memory are completely different. For games most are run off the GPU and the increased memory will greatly improve proformance. The main system memory will improve performance if say you want to run a game and listen to music while chating and surfing the web.

if u place an agp card in your computer it will stop using your system ram.
word of advise, instead of getting a 64 mb agp card, u will be better of getting at least a 128mb agp card, nowadays u could get one for about 40$ and the plus side is that these cards also have a gpu (graphics processing unit) so if u buy lets say a geforces 5200 card, thing that u are getting 128mb of ram and a 400 mhz processor in the card, and it will aslo have HT&L. as it is anything is better than the onboard graphics card.

particular your computing device desires a snap shots card (no count if or not it fairly is integrated or seperate) through fact something that it outputs to the computer screen is seen snap shots. take a inspect the O/S your utilising, there are alot of photos and stuff on the show - a number of those are seen snap shots. you will possibly not want a "killer" snap shots card yet reckoning on the O/S you're working you would be wanting a minimum of a common one. in case you have an integrated snap shots card and issues show wonderful for you then you definitely do not might desire to enhance to a clean snap shots card.
