I would have to say Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the N64 still holds up for me. That game was just a masterpiece from start to finish. Graphics, controls, game depth and of course the story was amazing. Other notables I would say are: Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Resident Evil 4, Grand Theft Auto III, Legend of Zelda for the NES (extremely advanced for its time). What do you think?

ok first off i would have to say there are 3 top games ever made! the would be- Zelda:Ocarina of Time for N64. as you said it was a Zelda Master piece and can never be replaced. Metroid Prime for GCN, it just gave a whole new aspect for metroid and 1st person shooter games all together! and Last the Most Hilarious and immoral game ever made, Conkers Bad Fur Day for N64! But there have been many other games through out time that desereve credit as great hits as well! first lets start at the beginning. Nes: mario brothers (the one that started it all!), mario bros. 3, metroid, and the legend of zelda. SNES: Super Metroid, Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong Country 2 & 3, Ms. Pac-Man, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario World, and Mario Kart. N64: Perfect Dark (a much better upgrade of 007 Golden Eye), Super Mario 64, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Guantlet Legends, Mario Tennis, Mario Kart 64, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Star Wars Rouge Squadron, paper mario. GCN: Metroid Prime 1 &2 (best games of its time!), paper mario 2, fire emblem, soul caliber 2, tales of symphonia, mario power tennis. GBA: All the Pokemon Games, Final Fantasy Tactics, metroid fusion, and the wario lands! PS2: all the Final Fantasys, the Devil May Crys, and The Lord of Rings: The Third Age. There may be others but these are my favorites through out time! thank you, and Rock on all you Gamers!

Of all time has answers that can not compare to present games. I choose pac man, galaga, supermario brothers for nintendo, duck hunt, and when super nintendo came out it all changed. The best zelda was for super nintendo. A link to the past. I frogot all about coleco. I had that system back in the days and loved donkey kong. But back to super nintendo, you can't forget contra 3, street fighte 3, mortal combat, and killer instinct. But it just hit me now. the best game was bond 007 for nintendo 64. When you get a lot of people who really know how to play, it could be a long night. Lisence to kill. One shot one kill with pistols. My freinds and I used to have some crazy battles. That is the new official classic. The only games I play now are GTA and need for speed.

The best video game of all time would be Th e legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I loved the fact that you can put on a verity of masks and use the the ability by transforming into different tribes of monsters. Plus you can go back in time!! C'mon man.

Definately the entire Zelda collection, because nothing beats Link and his little sword :) Next on the list would have to Mario and Metroid Prime. Those ones are timeless.

I'd have to go with Chrono Trigger, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, or FFII (American, FFIV in Japan).

Why, oh why, did they stop making games for the SNES?
