No it's not that hard, but you'll see it's meaningless. Have fun.

I teach 9th grade math. Basically, high school is not that hard if you pay attention, be organized, complete the assignments and attend class regularly. But the most important advice I can give is that the grade you earn is the grade you get. In high school, the grades finally count. They don't just pass you through with a sympathy "C". If you fail then you take the class again. These are the grades worth working for. They count towards college "uni", scholorships, and better paying jobs. I did my student teaching in Australia and now teach in the states, no matter where you are in the world, high school is important to your future. Good luck to you.

My high school experience is a little different because I m homeschooled. But really it s not that hard. You just have to focus and make sure you study for all your tests. I m finding physics to be quite challenging however....I m in the 11th grade. Some subjects are just harder than others. But you ll be fine.

No way... I was really scared too, but when I got into it I felt real silly for being so upset. It's really not that hard at all. I didn't try extreemely hard and I still didn't fail anything. I am SURE you will do just fine. Try and relax and make sure you choose your classes wisely. Don't do all the hard ones at the last minute- best thing to do is put an art class before science, so you're not over-loaded. Good luck!

It is in fact a little harder, but not just for educational reasons, your whole life will begin to change now. social events, entering the work force or work place, going through extreme emotional changes, and more.
You will probably be VERY busy and active in HS, there are a lot of intra-school events and schedules to keep you going, unless you are a slug and don't participate in anything, in which case, breezing through HS will be easy. It's all what YOU make of it!
It is THE BEST time of your life though! From about 15-19 will be YOUR time, enjoy it, and have fun, but keep those grades up to at least a "C" or "C+" so you don't blow chances for college later on :)

nope its easy. The classes aren't very challenging, unless you get into AP or honors classes, and most of the time if you get into these classes you already have the study habits to make it through ok. The hardest part about high school isn't the classes- they're designed for the lowest common denominator. The hardest part is social. People are old enough to be sexually active and engage in gossip, but still to young to do these things with class and courtesy. Good luck!

In high school, you can literally pull off a B by simply showing up to class. That sounds pretty easy to me.

High school is not that hard, especially in a public high school. All grades and homework are geared towards kids who don't want to learn. So if you pay attention in class, finish all homework, and did miss a whole lot, you will be fine. If you are taking AP classes then it will be challenging, but more rewarding in the end. If you did well in Junior High, you will be fine.
I was an athlete through high school and college and had my GPA in HS was 3.2 and college 2.5 and I didn't really try. I did what I had to do to be elligible.

It depends. Junior year is the worst. Freshman is the easiest. Sophomore is harder than freshman but slightly easier than junior. Senior year is busy with finding colleges, and getting accepted, but it is easier than junior year of high school.
