does anyone know a site on the internet where I can order a WHOLE engine for a 84 Jeep cherokee. Where all I need to do is take out the old one, fill it fluids and hook it up. ( rebuilt / new ) either.

Try J.C. Whitney look up their web site and request a catalog. You can also call them, they are in the Chicago area. They have been in the business for decades and most everything. There is also a salvage yard in Redding, CA. They sell new and manufactured parts also. If you live in that area they even deliver weekly. I lived in Oregon and got parts from them. J.C. Whitney is about the best though.

That answer from that man does not know what he is talking about. I have been working on engines and replacing them for years. Jasper Engines are not reliable.
Check with the auto parts stores, like Auto-Zone
You might try

But generally most auto parts stores can get you an engine
