I aint sure since I don't got one or never had one..
But I heard on the news yesterday that your old sent and recived text messages can be read by whoever gets your phone when you upgrade if they aint properly deleted

I don't know what model your cell phone is. But with my phone I have new and old message directories where I can check for those messages.

Look under recent history. However most phones have limited memory and roll off old messages. Mine last about 7 days - RAZR

what kind of phone do u have..it shouldnt matter...go to messages on ur phone and u should have a list of all the features that deals with ur messages
