You know what, I have asked myself that many times before getting married this year. I thought when I got married this question would be answered, but the truth is I realized that that someone I was looking for was me. We have the power to control one world and that is our own. Maybe you should just try celebrating you and that person will come. I can remember running after my ex then I asked God to show me me and I saw that this guy did not appreciate me so I only had two other options: appreciate myself or be miserable. I'm telling you I sat on that sofa and said "God I want a boyfriend and I refuse to be miserable or depressed because my ex doesn't appreciate me. Within the next week (I kid you not) I met my husband. The point that I am trying to make is anyone can be that special someone but just make sure you are that special someone to you first. Good living!

give up, move on to something or someone else.
They make medications for people who can't seem to move on and dwell on things.
