Its either america is doing too much for the world and interfering in everyone's business or america isn't doing enough for the world and are acting selfishly.

I really believe the europeans use the iraqi war excuse for their deep-rooted anti-americanism. It is strange how the french didn't care about the iraqi people when they were having oil deals with saddam, but all of a sudden USA comes in to save them and they are flipping out saying "THEY ARE TAKING THEIR OIL MAAAAAN".

This world is so stupid. Oh, and the reason why america doesn't like recognizing other people's culture is because we fought a war to get away from Europe.

America is always the "bad guy" - if we help people we are being nosey and if we don't help them then we are selfish bastards. Either way, we are always criticized by the world. It all comes down to the fact that many countries are jealous of our prosperity and way of life.

The problem is that america is the sole super power of the world. As the wealthiest and most powerful country, we have an obligation to help the less fortunate. The sad part is that we are hated by the very people that we are trying to help. All these countries say how horrible and unjust america is, yet they have no problem accepting millions of american dollars in aid every year. It is hard being #1.

What specific oil deals did the French have that the U.S. didn't? Rumsfeld and Saddam are old buddies, remember?

Sorry for being stupid... but your last sentence doesn't make any sense. What war, and how does that relate to not liking to recognize other cultures?

The gist of your question is dead on, you just have to write more clearly.
Read 'Atlas Shrugged' by Ayn Rand - she answers your question, and comes up with a solution.
