ok use an MP3 player/cd/tape to learn the song, but once you remember the tune do you ever just remember it instead of playing it again?

I do that but then I have to hear it to get it outta my head...or else it will just drive me totally nuts

Yes, all the time. I also hardly ever listen to music for I don't have an mp3 player or anything of the sort. The only time I listen to music is when I am in the car, and its not that often for I don't drive.

don't have an mp3 player but in my youth the record player was the thing to memorise songs before singing them in your head all day. oh the memory of lifting the needle and placing it on the bit of the record searching for the line you couldn't quite make out first time round. those were the days my friend.......

I haven't got an mp3 player and hardly know what one is. And I can certainly remember lots of tunes and sing hum or play them on the piano.

Yes, when I'm driving in the car and the radio is crap.
I hate it when I arrive home before I've heard the end of a song I was enjoying.

Unfortunately this only really works for me with songs like Bing Bang from Lazytown. It has osmosed its way into my brain and won't get out - it's driving me crazy. PS. Not mad - have a 3 year old.
