I take forever to move up in points because I ask too many questions. I also am not on here all day. I only answer maybe about 10 questions per day. Most days, I break even on points.

So to answer your question, no, I don't look down on people with less points than me. I've watched many people go by me to level 5 and level 6. It's a level. It's points. It doesn't measure your abilities in any way as an asker or answerer.

But I do look down on people that give their answers absolutely no thought. When I just get a yes or no answer to something much more complex than that it bothers me.

Yes, I admit I sometimes do that and I hate myself for it. But you know what. Most of the times when I see someone of level 1 and my reaction is to laugh or think 'Yeah, they must be worthless and stupid' I take a moment and read their answers. And my opinion of them changes completley.

Because the truth is that their level doesn't prove anything. Who knows why they are at that level? Maybe they just started participating on this site, maybe their answers didn't get picked although they were valuable.

It's the same with 6 or 7 level users. Just because they reached that level, it doesn't mean they deserve it. So you can't really judge people by that.

"Congradulations ninerfaninsa...!
Now, your better than "them." Welcome to the ego ladder!
No reason not to enjoy yourself. Ask a few, answer a lot. The more you do it, and pay attention to every detail, the higher you go in "points."
If you get to 7, it means you have written your life history in yahooanswers and no one knows what yahoo does with all the info it collects. Probably sell it to vendors and advertisers. Who knows?"

I don't think about things like that I just do this because I enjoy it and I like to help people if I can. I don't ask questions I just like to answer them. I never could ask for help I always had to figure it out for myself.

No. I look down on those that are far ahead of me. I have a life, so anyone that spends much more time in Yahoo Answers than I do must be a LOSER!
