i need to like have an attention grabber, not just some boring line like "Yesterday, I met _____"

im thinking of "most of you know that _____ loves swimming and joining sporting events. But sometimes, amazing things can happen! When she was about 4 yrs old, she blah blah blah. (then I have like 2 more stories following and they are pretty short)

You could start out with an attention grabber, such as "does anyone like (insert friend's favorite game, food, etc)? Well, that is (Friend's name) favorite food also." Or if there is fact everyone knows about this person, you could use that as follows: "We all know that (Friends' name) plays basketball, but did you know that (Friend's name) also enjoys deep sea diving?"

Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Give a few interesting facts about this person first without letting the class know who it is. Maybe say.... so and so loves to sing in the shower. Add a few more facts. Then say... I am proud to introduce ________! I found out that we have such in such in common and I am happy that I have this year to get to know them and everyone else.

Make sure and smile. Looking around the room can make you feel more relaxed. Find a friendly face if you get too nervous. Just remember to think in your head what you plan on saying, smile, breath normal, and have fun!

ok take a deep breath - smile - and say some thing nice abot the person you are about to present like "It is my pleasure to present so and so, You may be surprised to know that so-and-so is an avid reader," then breath and go on say another sentence - speak slowly and clearly - and prepare 2 1/2 minutes worth of presentation. good luck

To start I'd say something like "yesterday I had the pleasure of getting to know so and so for a little while and today I'd like to share with you some of the things I learned"

Start by saying that you`re not going to identify this person and take it from there.Don`t focus your gaze on any one or any thing but keep looking up,from your paper not at the ceiling.

I am going to tell you about my new friend (insert name here) whom i met yesterday. She is from __________. She likes cats and has 6 of them. Her mother hates cats and thinks they are disgusting.

Remember to talk slower than normal. Breath. Make eye contact with everyone you can and imagine that they are all naked and more frightened of that than you are of being in front of them.
