I'm asking this because I'm going on a trip to San Fransico next week and I would like to know if I should pay another ticket for the guy or should he pay for his own ticket? Thanks any answer will do.

He should pay his own! If anything, he should be paying for your ticket! Don't EVER offer to pay for a man, unless it is your male child or husband and out of your joint account!

Well, it depends. What kind of trip is this? Are you asking him to go to a wedding with you or something like that? If you've been invited to an out of town event and want to take this guy with you, I think you should probably pay his way. My way of thinking is if you ask someone out, you should pay. If you're just going to SF to party, then ask if he'd be interested in going, and the airfare would be $xx.xx. If he says he can't afford it, then it's entirely up to you whether or not you want to pay his way.

Either go dutch, or he should pay for both. I've been with my guy for 10 years, and even if I have my own money-he WILL NOT let me go into my pocket. I've only done it once-for his birthday one year-and I had to tell the waiter DO NOT give him the check!! A true gentleman will not even let you consider paying for him. Even if you have to go alone this time, wait for your gentleman. He's out there!

If you know him well then why not? Make a deal with him saying that you will pay but when you two get back he has to pay you back. Or you can make this your treat this time but he has to treat big next time too!

If he wants to go then let him pay for his own way especially if you arent married or engaged to him. he could just be using you for a free vacation.

the question you have to ask yourself is do you want to, not whether or not you should. if you want to have your guy share the experience with you and have the means to fund a second ticket, then go for it.
